Interact Club – Jacob’s Journey

As a club we have decided to support a local fundraiser for a little boy Jacob. His mother Hannah (maiden name Voisey) was a past pupil of the school. Many of us remember her.

As a club it has always been important to us to support charities that are special and close to us.

Jacob has Spastic Diplegia Cerebral Palsy which is a neurological issue affecting his mobility. He is unable to stand or walk independently. It is hoped that with an operation called Selective Dorsal Rhizotomy and extensive physiotherapy both pre and post operatively Jacob has every chance of gaining mobility and walking independently in the future.

We are going to be selling green and white wrist bands over the next few weeks to support Jacob in his journey.
